It’s a treatment and healing to eliminate the gastric and duodenal ulcer, called triple therapy; this means, a therapy that allows to attack the disease considering the following points of view, and that it’s recommended by the gastroenterologists. One of them; neutralize and reduce the heartburn; another, the eradication of the bacterium Helicobacter Pylorus; and, as the third, to restrict the use of medicines, non steroids anti-inflammatory drugs. This strategy of combination often provides the opportunity to allow the ulcer healing and to reduce the possibility of recurrence of the same. It’s important that the patients take all the medicaments exactly like they were prescribed.
For example: to eliminate the bacterium Helicobacter Pylorus will be necessary the use of antibiotics (metronidazole, tetracycline, clarithromycin, amoxicillin) to kill the bacterium. To neutralize and reduce the heartburn will be necessary the use of blockers or suppressors of the acids (like cimetidine, ranitidine, famotidine, H2 blockers, inhibitors of protons bump). Also there are medicines to protect the stomach as bismuth cream and/or sucralfate (complex of sucrose and aluminum).
The triple therapy administrated during two weeks decreases the ulcerous symptoms; destroy the bacteria and avoid the recurrence of the ulcer in more than 90% of the patients. The use of only one type of medicine to treat the bacterium Helicobacter Pylorus is not recommended. On the other hand, the patient should avoid the take of stomach’s irritatings like non steroids anti-inflammatories (analgesics), el alcohol and the nicotine. It’s important having in mind, to take a soft diet.
Another form of neutralizing the acidity is through the taking of antiacids, which serve to control the ulcers, relieve the symptoms, promote its healing and stimulate your cicatrisation reducing the recurrences. Most of the antiacids are acquired without medical prescription (it doesn’t require to visit the gastroenterologist), being these relatively cheap, being precise to take them between 5 – 7 times a day. The person chooses the type of antiacid in function of the flavor, effect on the evacuations, cost and efficacy. The optimum antiacid regimen for the cicatrisation of the ulcer seems to be from 15 to 30 ml of liquids or 2 – 4 tablets; 1 – 3 hours after each food and when you go to bed. But for a better ulcers control, the patient should visit the gastroenterologist.
In general there are two types:
1) The absorbable antiacids neutralize quickly and completely the acid of the stomach. The sodium bicarbonate and the calcium carbonate, the more powerful antiacids can be taken occasionally to obtain a relief in short term. Given that they are absorbed by the blood flow, their continued use can alter the acid basic balance of the blood, producing alkalosis (the syndrome of milk-alkalines). Therefore, you should be limited to some days the use of these antiacids in important quantities. The symptoms of the alkalosis consist in nauseas, headache and weakness, although these similar symptoms can be also caused by other disorders.
2) The non absorbable antiacids (salts relatively insoluble of weak acids) are preferred by their minor secondary systemic effects. It’s unlikely that they cause alkalosis. These interact with the chlorhydric acid forming salts that are absorbed scarcely, increasing like this the pH gastric. The activity of the pepsin diminishes when the pH gastric rises to more than 4 and the pepsin can be adsorbed by some antiacids. The antiacids can interfere with the absorption of other drugs (for example, tetracycline, digoxin, iron). Other antiacids are the aluminum hydroxide, which is an antiacid relatively innocuous and of frequent use and can cause constipation. Furthermore, we have the magnesium hydroxide, which is an antiacid much more efficacious than the aluminum. Many antiacids contain magnesium hydroxide and aluminum hydroxide at the same time.
A) Treatment and natural healing forpeptic Ulcers
Only and exclusively with ASTOMACAL, natural product without chemical additives, nor preservants, indicated for patients with peptic ulcer.

ASTOMACAL is a natural antibiotic, whose first function will be to eliminate gradually the bacterium Helicobacter Pylorus, which is located in the gastric mucous. At the same time, it helps to eliminate the heartburn, another of the fundamental problems of the peptic ulcers.
