Savage cough

a) Savage cough:  (convulsive cough)
It is a dry cough, irritativa, contagious and epidemic, that happens principally in the children (infantile cough) 2-year-old minors.  It is a spasmodic, violent and stifling cough interrupted by long and noisy inspirations. It is produced by the bacterium Bordetella pertussis.  When the infected person sneezes or coughs, it expels small droplets that contain the bacterium and that move across the air, spreading the disease in it presents neighbours.  The initial symptoms, similar to the ones of regular flu, in general develop approximately a week later than the exposition to the bacteria and the serious cough episodes begin around 10 or 12 days later.  In children, the savage cough (convulsive cough) usually ends with a stertor which is produced when the patient tries to breath.  This stertor weird in patients younger than 6 months of age and adults.

The episodes of savage cough (convulsive cough) can lead to vomit.  In babies (infantile cough) the suffocation episodes are common.  The infection generally lasts for about 6 weeks.

Savage cough (convulsive cough) affects people of any age.  Before there was a large availability of vaccines, the illness was more common in children and babies. Now that most of children are vacunados, a larger percentage of the illness is seen in teenagers and adults. We are studying the possibility of homemade recipes for cough are helpful in these cases.

b)  Cough of dog:
It's the cough that comes from the larynx, trachea or bronchi and it takes   place generally in children; also seen in smokers as cough of dogIt is a viral inflammation.  We don't know if the homemade recipes against cough of dog are effective, but they are under study.

Both savage cough and convulsive cough are illnesses that are very similar to dry cough, humid cough and chronic cough, but different in their origins. They have similar treatments but we haven't proved their efficiency with ASTEXPECT yet.
Therefore, at the moment, we do not recommend the use of ASTEXPECT for the treatment of savage cough and cough of dog.  We hope that in the next 6 months we have more knowledge about the administration of ASTEXPECT in these types of cough.
