THE OBESITY
 

The obesity is a chronic disease that it is declared by the excess of body fat, causes by the state of anxiety of people, the bad food, and the lack of physical exercises. The obesity is a way of life for having overweight. When a person exceeds a 20% on your normal weight, according to your age, sex, constitution, and height, it’s considered obese. The 60% of the adult population in USA is obese and 20% is obese between adolescents. The obesity decreases the life quality of the sick.

The obesity is an additional symptom of serious diseases and can give rise to health problems, like arterial hypertension, diabetes mellitus type 2, increase of risk of coronary diseases, increase of the risk of heart attacks, hyperlipidemia (too much fats or lipids in blood), infertility and major prevalence of cancer of breast, colon, prostate, and endometrium; also, it is developed hepatic damage, and complications in the pregnancy. From the point of view physiological, it generates in people a psychological problem like depression and low self-esteem, because our society tends to compare beauty, intelligence, and success with slimness. For example, in USA the obesity affects the 30% of the population.

The most important factor is the percentage of body fat. In healthy men it is considered 17% of the body weight and in healthy women until the 25%. The human organism has between 30 – 40 billions of fat cells. The excess of fat in people occurs when the quantity of energy that is ingested with the foods is superior to what it’s spent. And, it’s characterized by an increase of the fat deposit due to an alteration in the balance between energetic entry and consumption, in which the entry is always major than the consumption, accumulating the organism an excess of energy in form of fats.

The treatment of the obesity is very complex and difficult, because only you should change your nutritional habits, which is the way of life you take for years. Some people can change them during 3 months but, then, they forget and become to their previous weight. But we believe that this is much easier for those people who have major will due to the change that radically do in their food, preferring already the vegetables, fruits, proteins, foods low in calories and fats, feeling themselves, after that, better and achieving, of course, the diminution of the body weight. You know, if you want to slim, the only thing you have to do is to change of way of life and of nutritional habits.

The obese people are also called fats, they are more known like this. The fats are known for being easy-going and happy, hiding very well their psychological state with a smile, or accepting your character and becoming happy fats. The fatness in these people makes that they accept their reality and don’t reject it, but there are fatnesses that are rejected for people of negative thoughts and their life is difficult, because they don’t accept nicknames or hatred looks. I believe in general that fatnesses must be accepted and start to fight so that they aren’t called what they don’t want to hear
