Pneumonia is an infection of the lungs, produced by bacteria, virus or fungi and parasites which affect persons of all ages; especially to weak patients (low immunological system) and elders.  The open door to the infectious agent is usually the airway.  The usual symptoms are cough, thoracic pain and fever; however, they don't always appear.

THE SYMPTOMS OF THE PNEUMONIA ARE:

1)  Fever (up to 40º) shivering and excessive sweating (wet skin).

3)   Productive cough, with expectoration, greenish snot or yellowish, (salmon like), purulent (according to the bacteria that are causing it.  Sometimes with reddish phlegm (blood).
4)  Thoracic pain which increments when breathing and coughing.
