Diabetes is chronic disease which appears when the pancreas does not make the quantity of insulin that the body needs, or when the insulin is very low. This chronic disease of the endocrine system is characterized for presenting high levels of glucose (sugar) in the blood. It is also known as the disease of the sweet urine or as diabetes mellitus (honey tasting). This disease affects the pancreas not letting it produce enough insulin (type 2) or not letting produce insulin at all (type 1). Insulin helps the glucose to reach all cells in the body, but when there is very low insulin or no insulin at all, the glucose accumulates in the blood, that’s why the blood turns sweet and it is called Mellitus (Honey). Consequently, the body cells do not respond to the insulin that it produces (type 2). This accumulation of glucose in the blood generates problems such as: blindness, renal insufficiency, damage to the nerves, development of cardiovascular illnesses.
From another point of view, our daily diet turns to glucose, energy source for the body cells. The pancreas, an organ that’s close to the liver, produces a hormone called insulin, which function is to take the glucose to the rest of the body, but when this is low or non existent it produces an elevation of the levels of glucose (sugar) in the blood. This way, when the glucose levels are high, the glucose can not penetrate the body cells; therefore, the organism gets rid of its usual source of energy. The body responds trying to eliminate the excess of glucose in the blood using the fats and proteins (of the muscles) as alternative source of energy, which has effects in some body functions, this is when the symptoms of diabetes appear, like unusual production of urine (more than normal) excessive thirst (this is produced because the body eliminates the excess of glucose, leaking it through the kidneys, through the urine and thirst is the result of the dehydration of the body). Plus, since the body can not use the glucose to obtain energy, it obtains it metabolizing its muscular reserves and fats too. This generates weight loss. There is a lot more information on diabetes, diabetes in young people, diabetes in old people, etc. We have considered the most important information on diabetes type I and II.
A) CAUSES
- One of the principal causes is; the hereditary or genetic factor, which predisposes the body to suffer from both types of diabetes.
- The low production of insulin of the pancreas, being this due to the exhaustion of the glandule or due to the excessive consume of high sugar leveled foods. This deficient production of insulin allow the level of glucose (sugar) to reach the blood, elevating the usual level of glucose. The obesity and excessive consume of fats are important factor that produce diabetes type II. It is suspected that in both types of diabetes, especially in diabetes type I, autoimmune processes can be involved, due to the fact that the cells of the immune system start to attack our own body instead of the virus and bacteria.
During the normal process of metabolism of the foods, the glucose, which is a sugar substance that is source of fuel for the body, enters the blood torrent. On the other hand, the pancreas (glandule) produces the insulin, which function is to transport the glucose of the blood torrent to the muscles, the fat and the hepatic cells, where it can be used as energy source or fuel. When a person suffers from diabetes, this changes because the level of glucose elevates due to the fact that the pancreas does not produce enough insulin or because the muscles, fat and hepatic cells do not respond normally to the insulin, or both.
In general, we can consider: That one of the parents or siblings are diabetic, the development of obesity, being older than 40 years, have a gestacionaria diabetes, deliver a baby that weighs more than 4 kilograms (9 lb), high arterial pressure, high trigicleridos level on the blood (a type of fat molecule), high level of cholesterol, lack of exercise .
B) SYMPTOMS
Both types of diabetes produce diverse symptomatology, such as:
- Eliminate orange colored urine, frothy and sweetened, and several times a day, which, in general, is not felt. At night, the person can go to the bathroom about 2 or 3 times. This could be considered as a symptom.
- Dry mouth, excessive thirst, due to dehydratation.
- Lack of energy; this can be noticed easily because the person feels tired all day long.
- Weight loss; common and fast in diabetes type II but in diabetes type II can present itself slowly. If diabetes is under control, the patient will probably gain weight.
- Blurry vision because the crystalline of the eye absorbs glucose and water, producing an inflammation in the eye.
- Breath that smells like fruit, development of aftas and cystitis, constant hunger, irritability, bad breath, impotence, pale skin, itching sensation on the body, which may cause problems to the the kidneys, heart and nerves; and even gangrene.
These diverse symptoms affect young diabetes patients, adults and elders. All the people who suffer from this disease, have as alternative medicine, medicinal herbs for diabetes; like having a natural treatment with our product
DIABUTA,
with this product, the diabetes can be treated in a natural way, which will help your glucose (sugar) to control itself and reach normal levels. It is important to considerate, our natural recipes because diabetes is an illness that’s for the rest of the life. We should indicate that the recipes go along with a diet for diabetics (men and women).
